Serikbay Oraz

He began his career in the religious sphere with the post of deputy (naib) imam of the Central Mosque of Alma-Ata. He taught at the Islamic Institute, served as rector of the Islamic University. Then he was appointed authorized imam of the SAMK of the city of Astana (now Nur-Sultan). He was deputy chairman of the SAMK (naib mufti) (2000-2001), head of the religion department of the Akimat of the city of Almaty, worked as the Director of the Directorate of Administrative Buildings of the Office of the President of Kazakhstan
