Buda Badmaev

According to the international system of the International Higher Examination Council of the Oxford Educational Network (IHEC), the Department of Buddhism has degrees from the Grand Doctor of Buddhist Philosophy and the Grand Doctor of Tibetan Medicine.
Since 1991, he has been working in the St. Petersburg datsan, which is part of the Buddhist traditional Sangha of Russia. He is a Shireete Lama (Rector) since 1997.

For his contribution to the preservation of Buddhist traditions and the development of relations between Russia and countries practicing Buddhism, he was awarded a number of international awards.
