Soltanakhmed Karalayev

Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Kalmykia, Mufti.
Born in Dagestan. In 1995, he became the first imam-khatib of a mosque in the village of Prikumsky, in 2008 - since the establishment of the DUM of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the Coordination Center for Muslims of the North Caucasus, he became its chairman.
Member of the Presidium of the Interreligious Council of the Republic of Kalmykia, member of the Public Advisory Council at the OFMS of Russia for the Republic of Kalmykia.
