Schlomo Amar

Rabbi Schlomo Amar is the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem since 2014. Previously he was the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel and the Chief Rabbi of the city of Tel Aviv. He is the author of over 20 books about Halakha (Jewish religious laws) and the Torah. He was born in Morocco in 1948 and immigrated to Israel in 1962.
